Watching
the sun go down is a 'must do' experience at the New Humanity Centre,
Kalamata southern Greece. The Centre is 600 m above sea level, located
close to the seashore village of Akroyali and overlooks the Gulf of
Messini.
The surrounding mountains are festooned with olive trees with few human inhabitants. It truly is a beautiful spot to detach, unwind and let go of all those every-day stresses and strains associated with the hustle and bustle of our urban and busy lives. |
The New Humamity Centre especially welcomes teachers /gurus and masters to host their workshops and seminars for their students in the surroundings of this unique natural environment which offers beauty, silence and space. The Centre is vegetarian although we do respect the wishes of non-vegetarians and provide space for culinary alternatives. The Centre is administered by Hari Homaro Vacal who was a graduate of the University of Brussels, Belgium, and a student member of Oxford University, UK. Hari was also a graduate of Waterloo University of Canada and involved in the Arcane School of New York, USA. |

The New Humanity Centre caters for those on the path i.e. the 'seekers of knowledge'. Space can be found to sleep upwards of 16 people in bedded accommodation and there is ample space within the lower living quarters of the Ensophion for upwards of 40 - 50 people with sleeping bags. There are two kitchens where meals can be prepared and each room has a shower. The Library area and the domed room above the living quarters of the Ensophion are ideal for meetings, seminars and workshops. Its shape is perfectly suited for group meditations and healing sessions. We especially welcome teachers and students who wish to use the Centre as a base to facilitate their spiritual and tantric activities. The nearest village of Akroyali is about 10 - 15 minutes walk down the mountainside. Transport can be arranged so that excursions into the hinterlands of southern Greece can be explored. The grounds around the New Humanity Centre form part of a 10,000 square metre plot of land which is ideal for Vipassana-type meditations for those who wish to undertake quiet, undisturbed meditations. For details of what the Centre has to offer, including facilities for groups undertaking spiritual activities including Tantric groups, please email for further details or contact the Centre coordinator, Hari Vacal on +30 27210 58172.
