The Ensophion (pictured on the right) is the focal point of the New Humanity Centre which is located 10 km from Kalamata, in southern Greece. The Centre is nestled 600 m up on a mountainside and overlooks the Gulf of Messini. The surrounding views are both spectacular and awe-inspiring. The night sky also provides wonderful views of constellations and stars with almost no glare from urban ligthing. The centre functions as an international spiritual workshop /seminar and conference centre as well as a silent retreat. It also caters for backpackers, school visits, hikers, mountaineers and provides cheap holiday rooms and space for mobile homes and tent sites.

The New Humamity Centre especially welcomes teachers /gurus and masters to host their workshops and seminars for their students in the surroundings of this unique natural environment which offers beauty, silence and space. The Centre is vegetarian although we do respect the wishes of non-vegetarians and provide space for culinary alternatives.

The Centre is administered by Hari Homaro Vacal who was a graduate of the University of Brussels, Belgium, and a student member of Oxford University, UK. Hari was also a graduate of Waterloo University of Canada and involved in the Arcane School of New York, USA.

 

WELCOME to the New Humanity Centre. The site map at the top of the page details why we are here and what we do. The Mission Statement sets out our philosophy for providing what has been described as "a tutorial Centre of contemporary yet ageless wisdom ". In fact, Ensophion is translated to "the One, boundless, conscious-wisdom of humanity". We offer courses, tutorials and lectures for opening and guiding our creative forces of self-improvement towards a fuller and deeper understanding of why we are here and how we may co-operate to achieve a blended spiritual road map to go forward in Life.

We are currently looking for VOLUNTEERS (age, marital status, race, creed or colour not important) to help in the running of the Centre. Duties include anything from general maintenance of the Centre to help with administrative elements of arranging courses and seminars etc.

The Centre hold various workshops and seminars to expound all the necessary transformations for embracing the New Millenium. These range from spiritual wisdom teachings that also encompass sociological, political, economic and educational alternatives. Hence, the Centre is part of a holistic network and is the international headquarters of the 'Universal Alliance'. The facilities of the Centre are also available to existing teachers and their students.The greater part of our effort will be to facilitate teachers and students interested in spiritual practices, including retreats. The Centre is on a piece of land which is approximately 10, 000 square metres in dimension. There is ample space within the surrounding mountain and the Ensophion itself for un-interrupted peace and tranquility for those undergoing silent retreats.
